FOCUS: Rokstone is one of the world's largest managing general agents (MGAs) and a specialist in specialty lines. In December 2022, Rokstone announced five new livestock products that aim to provide broader and more flexible terms and include several unique policy features.

COVERAGE DETAILS: Limits are up to $500,000 per animal and $20 million per risk. 

Coverage highlights of the new products include:

• Livestock Mortality. All risk cover for individually scheduled animals.
• Livestock Confinement, Pasture and Feedlot. Coverage of animals for specified perils, including fire, wind, flood or drowning, snowstorms, collapse, attack by predators, and contaminated feed or water. This coverage has a broad array of available endorsements.
• Livestock, Care, Custody and Control Liability. Coverage for non-owned livestock being raised under a written feeding contract. Designed for swine and poultry confinement, coverage can be extended for loss of income.
• Livestock Motor Truck Cargo Liability. Coverage for owned and non-owned livestock while being transported.
• Livestock Auction Market Coverage. Coverage for animals being sold through a livestock auction or purchased by any other type of livestock marketing company, including packing plants.
  

UNDERWRITING: Type, ages and values of livestock; location; and situation, such as feedlot, confinement, pasture, transportation and auction.

TARGET: Any person who owns, cares for, transports or markets live animals. In addition to traditional farm animals such as cattle, swine and poultry, Rokstone also offers coverage on various non-traditional species, such as giraffes, alpacas, elk and bison.

COVERAGE AVAILABILITY: Coverage is available in 44 states on non-admitted basis, excluding AK, CT, HI, MA, NJ, RI and DC. Coverage is currently available on an admitted basis in 23 states with plans to expand to offer admitted coverage in all the 44 states in 2023.
