Get to know the individuals that ignite the insurance industry as they answer our icebreaker questions.

Paul Baccaro is the co-founder and CEO of Social Jazz. He is a lifelong tech junkie and spent the past 20-plus years building online products and taking them to market.

He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from SUNY Oswego and started his career in advertising, but has held a wide variety of leadership positions that touch every facet of business, such as marketing, sales and finance. When he's not working on Social Jazz, he can be found strumming his guitar or spending time with his family.

Hi, Paul! Let's get started! What is your coffee order?

A grande red-eye, which is regular coffee with one shot of espresso.

That's rocket fuel right there. No wonder you're so productive. Where would you go during a zombie apocalypse?

On a boat on Lake Ontario … provided I had a fishing pole.

I've yet to see a horror movie where zombies can swim—solid plan. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza. Any and all toppings.

So what is your favorite pizza topping?

Pepperoni, although anchovies is a close second.

Anchovies? I like a little rebellion in my pizza. What superpower do you wish you had?

Teleportation.

A superpower that's practical and lazy at the same time. Love it. What's the strangest tradition in your family?

We have lasagna for Thanksgiving.

Yesss! Let's be real, nobody really likes turkey. Lasagna is always a winner. It's not so great in sandwiches, though. What's the best phrase or slang people use in your hometown or family?

My family says “skeeve" which is Italian American for grossed out. Like, “Eww, I skeeve that restaurant … it's dirty."

Who was your first celebrity crush?

Valerie Bertinelli.

I'm wondering if you might be Italian … Which sports teams do you support and why?

Buffalo Sabres. I love hockey and they are my local team.

If you could travel back in time to see a band play live, who would it be and why?

The Grateful Dead. I saw them once and it was an amazing experience. The music is great but watching the people watching would be even better.

What film have you watched the most times and will probably keep watching over and over again?

“V for Vendetta." It never gets old.

If you had to do karaoke, what song would you sing?

“Come Together" by The Beatles. The lyrics are just fun.

What one piece of advice would you give to your great-grandchildren?

Don't fret the small stuff.

What goals are you currently working toward outside of work?

I want to retire and open a small tiki bar on the beach.

That's the dream Instagram aesthetic right there. If you could stop aging at any age, what age would it be?

28.

Last of all, what is the most-used emoji on your phone?

The tears of joy emoji.

And you definitely bring us joy, Paul! Thanks for joining us!
