Bobbie has successfully led many teams in underwriting, distribution, marketing, technology and user experience for multiple organizations. She has been described as an “intrapreneur," always looking for ways to improve the organizations she works with by bringing new ideas to the table and, more importantly, seeing those ideas come to life. Her passion to change the paradigm in the insurance industry through technology and data drove her from working with traditional carriers to the InsurTech world, where innovation is prioritized.

Hi, Bobbie! Many of our readers will remember you hosting a recent episode of Agency Nation Radio, but we're going to turn the tables and ask you a few questions. Firstly, if you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Tacos. They are so versatile, so the variety is endless. Plus, you don't need any silverware to assist.

And staying with food, when you get fast food, where do you go?

Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Qdoba, Culvers or Jersey Mikes.

So, most of them. Got it. What is your favorite pizza topping?

Sausage and mushrooms.

And your favorite ice cream flavor?

Turtle.

What is the most-used emoji on your phone?

Kissy face.

What is the moment when you realized you were an adult?

Funny enough, it was when I had to buy insurance on my own for the first time.

I'm sure an independent agent came to the rescue, though. What's the best phrase or slang people use in your hometown or family?

“Ope," with a long O from these parts.

What three items are always in your handbag?

Burt's Bees Chapstick, tooth floss and eye drops.

What's one thing you can't say no to?

A good hike—the best ones have breathtaking views.

Nature therapy. It's hard to resist when the world is your scenic playground. What film have you watched the most times and will probably keep watching over and over again?

“Beetlejuice."

Say it three times, and it never gets old. If you could travel back in time to see a band play live, who would it be and why?

I narrowed it down to three as I cannot pick just one. In no particular order, The Cranberries, Nirvana and The Beatles. All of which carried me through my adolescence and teen years on my Walkman and then Discman.

Yes, seven with plans for more.
