Avery Moore is the owner of ECI Insurance and a third-generation agency owner after purchasing the agency in 2021. With over a decade in the industry, she has focused on growing the business while rebuilding a strong, accountable culture.

Avery holds CIC and CISR designations and has been named Oklahoma Young Agent of the Year and Oklahoma Agent of the Year. She is actively involved in the industry through the Big “I” national Young Agents Committee and in leadership roles at the state and local levels. She is especially passionate about recruiting and developing the next generation of independent agents.

What film have you watched the most times and will probably keep watching over and over again?

I could quote “50 First Dates” or “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” word for word … I feel like my mom would be disappointed with this answer, so for her sake, “Little Women.”

We all disappoint our mothers at some point. If you had to do karaoke, what song would you sing?

“You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morissette. You pick a karaoke song at 21 and it’ll stick with you forever.

Where would you go during a zombie apocalypse?

Let’s be honest, I probably wouldn’t make it past the third wave, but for hypothetical reasons, there’s a little farm south of Kansas City I’d go to. I think that would be a good place to learn I still hate running. The zombies can have me.

“I hate running” would make a terrible horror movie. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Chili’s chips and queso with some boneless buffalo wings, curry pho, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, and some bread pudding without raisins.

It seems like you’ve given this more thought than the zombie apocalypse question. If you had to enter a talent show, what would your performance be?

The saxophone is making a comeback, and I could bust out all my old band nerd skills.

What’s your biggest pet peeve?

WHEN PEOPLE EAT WITH THEIR MOUTH OPEN AND SMACK.

Which sports teams do you support and why?

Taylor Swift’s team. No need to explain.

We get it. What goals are you currently working toward outside of work?

I recently earned my scuba certification and want to get the Advanced Open Water certification so I can do some of my dream dives.
