Hey, Taylor! If you could travel back in time to see a band play live, who would it be and why?
I would love to see Queen with Freddie Mercury as the frontman. “A Night at the Opera” was one of the first records my husband and I bought when we first got into collecting vinyl, and it’s truly a perfect work of art.

What film have you watched the most times and will probably keep watching over and over again?
“Titanic.” It makes me cry nearly every time I watch it. My mom took my siblings and me to see it in theaters back in ’97, and I remember wearing a blue heart necklace to school that year and telling everyone that it was the same one from the movie. I had a big imagination.
If you could stop aging at any age, what age would it be?
It’s a privilege to grow older. I think of my Granny and all the wisdom she shared when she was with us. At 85, her mind was incredibly sharp, though physically, things were more challenging. I’d choose to be as old as I could while being healthy enough to live independently.
So, what one piece of advice would you give to your great-grandchildren?
I would share a mantra that gave me a lot of hope and comfort during a rough season: “Eventually all waves settle.”
Where would you go during a zombie apocalypse?
My husband has an entire zombie apocalypse strategy, so my plan is simple: Follow him and hope for the best.

Who has had the biggest influence on your professional career?
My dad. He taught me the value of a strong work ethic and the importance of staying humble. More than anything, he’s someone people know they can depend on. He leads with kindness, always has the best intentions and has shown me that character is just as important as competence.
Do you have any pets?
I have two cats, Milton and Pippa, but, like all good pet parents, I rarely call them by their real names. Milton is usually “Beanie Baby,” and Pippa is “Sweet P.” I could go through their aliases and how they came to be, but we don’t have that kind of time.
Tell us about your morning routine?
My cats are my alarm clock, usually waking me up around 5:30 a.m. (or earlier if they’re feeling especially peckish). I head downstairs to feed them breakfast, put the kettle on for tea, spend a few minutes with my gratitude journal and squeeze in a Duolingo German lesson before getting ready for the workday.
What is something you’re looking forward to?
Our trip to Germany in a couple of weeks. I’m looking forward to spending time with family, traveling with them, eating amazing food and drinking a crisp Kölsch—or zwei.
Prost and danke schön, Taylor!
