NIPR Unveils Mobile App for Insurance Producers

The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) recently launched a new mobile application for insurance agents and brokers that provides up-to-the-minute access to licensing information.
The NIPR Mobile app enables producers to view their licensing status in all states. Agents and brokers can use the app to view information such as their lines of authority, license numbers and license expiration dates. In the future, insurance producers will also be able to use the app to renew licenses on their mobile devices, receive renewal reminders, verify addresses and access information on insurer appointments.
The app is powered by NIPR’s producer database, a national repository of producer licensing information that is provided and updated by state insurance departments. Agents can download it for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
