PRODUCT: Cyberman365

COMPANIES: Cyberman365 is a collaboration between Burns & Wilcox and Node International, both companies within the H.W. Kaufman Group.

AVAILABILITY: Available to appointed insurance brokers and agents.

FOCUS: While individuals and families are spending more time online working, learning and socializing, cybercriminals are increasingly taking advantage of security vulnerabilities. Cybercrime activity has increased by 300% since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the FBI's Cyber Division, while in 2019, there was $3.5 billion in reported losses related to fraud recovery.

The threat of attacks on smart devices, such as routers, cameras and smart locks, also continues to increase as more are connected with in-home devices, resulting in a need for more preventive and protective options.

Burns & Wilcox and Node International both offer expertise in digital, cyber and technology insurance solutions," says David Derigiotis, corporate senior vice president, national professional liability practice leader, Burns & Wilcox. “The collaboration between the two companies shows the innovation and forward-thinking our global team brings to our brokers, agents and partners."

COVERAGE DETAILS: Cyberman365 consists of two digital wellbeing products: IDNotify and Homesafe.

IDNotify provides round-the-clock monitoring of personal data—financial, medical and social—and will alert users of any use of personal data. If users become a victim of identity theft, a fraud resolution agent will deliver step-by-step support to investigate and restore their identity.

Meanwhile, Homesafe actively monitors internet-enabled devices inside the home, identifies vulnerabilities, provides insights for improved security and remediates cyberattacks, all backed by the insurance policy.

“Unlike other products on the market, Cyberman365 offers a holistic solution to cybersecurity for the entire household," says Bill Gatewood, corporate senior vice president, national personal insurance practice leader, Burns & Wilcox. “We understand families need more solutions and efficiencies, especially in the current environment, which is why we leveraged the expertise of our professional and personal insurance practice groups to create these options and bring value for brokers and agents."

MINIMUM PREMIUM: Cyberman365 IDNotify prices include a monthly fee of $9.99 for the individual plan and $14.99 for the family plan. Cyberman365 Homesafe is $9.99 monthly for household protection. The two services combined cost $19.99 monthly for individuals and $34.99 for a family plan.

TARGET: The cyber product provides personal cyber protection for the entire household, including individuals, families and children.

COVERAGE AVAILABILITY: All 50 U.S. states.
