The 2026 Big “I” Legislative Conference, held April 22-24 in Washington, D.C., brought independent insurance agents together from across the country to advocate for the independent agency system and the consumers it serves.
Agents visited approximately 375 congressional offices to make their voices heard on crucial issues that impact the insurance industry. Attendees heard from congressional speakers, got up to speed on legislative, regulatory and legal challenges impacting their profession and made connections with industry leaders and fellow agents.
