On this episode of Agency Nation, Dana Dattola, principal of Weaver & Associates, shares how she implemented diverse work and marketing strategies at her family agency, which provided a platform for the business to adapt to the pandemic.
Last year, Weaver & Associates won the 2021 Agent for the Future Award for Outstanding Large Agency. On this episode of Agency Nation, Dana Dattola shares how she implemented diverse work and marketing strategies at her family agency, which provided a platform for the business to adapt to the pandemic. From building a recording studio in the now empty office to transitioning to a new AMS, Dattola is a leader among new breed of trailblazing independent agency owners.
Also, as March marks International Women's Day and Women's History Month, Dattola, a third-generation owner, says that “there's a lot of opportunity for women in insurance."
“If you know what you're talking about and you ask questions, you stand out," she says, noting that women in a male-dominated industry “can compete with male counterparts but need to be better educated on coverages and risk management techniques—you have to really prove you know your stuff."
Dattola was also featured in the March issue of Independent Agent magazine. Check out her interview here or read the full issue online.
