How did you get started at your agency?

I started 4 Insurance LLC with a clear mission: to educate consumers about insurance, helping them truly understand their exposures and how the right coverage can protect their future.

As a Latina business owner, it is also incredibly important to me to serve and support Hispanic communities. I’ve seen firsthand how language barriers and a lack of access to clear information can impact a family’s ability to make informed insurance decisions. I wanted to create an environment where people feel comfortable, informed and confident—no matter their background or primary language.

Why the personal lines insurance market?

We are deeply committed to helping business owners protect what they have worked so hard to build. As a woman- and minority-certified business, we understand the unique challenges many entrepreneurs face and are committed to providing guidance that extends beyond the insurance policy itself.

Many business owners are experts in their industries but may not fully recognize the risks associated with running and growing a business. Our role is to help identify exposures, uncover potential coverage gaps and develop insurance solutions that support both their current operations and future growth.

We work with a wide range of businesses and professionals, helping them address operational, contractual, cyber, professional liability and employment-related risks. By taking a proactive approach, we help our clients make informed decisions and protect the long-term success of their businesses.

Challenges in the market?

We actively address challenges through education and proactive guidance. Through our work with SCORE, a resource site for businesses; Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll); and community education, we help business owners understand their risks before they become problems, identify coverage gaps early and make informed decisions about their protection strategy.

EXCEED and EXCEED Onboard help employees learn, grow and Stay Up to Date.

Future trends?

The future of business insurance is becoming more personalized, technology-driven and education-focused. Key trends include increased demand for cyber insurance, a continued rise in employment practices claims, policies tailored to unique business operations, a greater emphasis on risk prevention, growth in small and minority-owned businesses and higher demand for education. We believe the future of insurance is not just about policies—it’s about empowering clients with knowledge and confidence.

Advice for a fellow agent?

Focus on relationships and education and not just sales. Understand the business behind the policy and invest in your own and your clients’ education. Be proactive, not reactive. Leverage your unique strengths and build long-term partnerships.
