FOCUS: Nationwide and Beam Benefits are teaming up to offer more employers customizable dental and vision coverage. The companies, which have been partners since 2019, will now offer dental and vision products underwritten by Nationwide in 34 states, giving employers more ways to support their most important asset: their employees.
Through its partnership with Nationwide, Beam has historically offered a wide range of products, including dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D), accident, hospital indemnity and critical illness. This expansion specifically broadens the reach of dental and vision offerings.

COVERAGE DETAILS: Dental plans include no-cost preventive care, coverage for basic and major services, such as fillings, crowns, root canals and implants, no missing tooth clause, and optional orthodontia. Vision coverage includes comprehensive eye exams, allowances for lenses and frames, and access to a broad national provider network.
UNDERWRITING: Beam Benefits uses a streamlined, technology‑enabled underwriting approach designed to make quoting and binding efficient for agents and brokers. Rates are generated through Beam’s digital quoting platform and reflect standard group underwriting factors, such as plan design, group size, industry classification, geographic location and state availability.
The application process is fully digital and integrated, reducing paperwork and administrative friction, often with instant quoting that allows brokers to move quickly from quote to coverage once required information is submitted.
