Recently, Charles Symington, Big “I" president & CEO, sat down to discuss his background, values and priorities as he takes the helm of the association. He shared how his 20-year career with the Big “I" has set him on the path to become the association's president & CEO, getting to know Big “I" staff and its membership while leading the Big “I" Government Affairs team.
“I really can relate to independent agents, their hard work, the dedication to their communities at their greatest time of need," Symington said. “It's those values and hard work that my parents instilled in me."
Speaking about his priorities as he commences his new role, Symington said, “My number one priority is advocacy and providing those tools to our members to get through this hard market which unfortunately does not seem to be ending anytime soon."
