An estimated 400,000 employees in the insurance industry are set to retire in the next few years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which means now is the time for conversations between younger employees and seasoned staff to begin the transfer of knowledge.

“The older generation, if you will, is taking our knowledge, our experience, and handing it down," Berrong said. “We have the opportunity to learn from the younger generation as they try to figure that out," he added.
