The Big “I” government affairs team is busy preparing for next week’s Big “I” Virtual Legislative Conference: Big “I” in Action. As COVID-19 is top of mind for both Big “I” members and those on Capitol Hill, it is the sole focus of next week’s conference and Wednesday’s issues briefing.

This one-page summary outlines the priorities of the Big “I” and can be used in virtual constituent meetings with members of Congress or their staff.

Congressional offices are conducting virtual constituent meetings in a variety of ways and some may not be doing them at all during the coronavirus pandemic. If you are meeting with a congressional office virtually, remember to schedule meetings any time after the legislative issues briefing—between Wednesday, May 13 at 3 p.m. ET and close of business Wednesday, May 20.

Help the government affairs team track meetings on the Hill by sharing details of any appointments with Nathan Riedel.

Registration for the Big “I” Virtual Legislative Conference is still open. Make sure to check out the full schedule for more details.

Teddie Norton Reilly is director, government affairs operations.
