The 2021 Big "I" Legislative Conference, scheduled to take place April 14-16, 2021, in Washington, D.C., will now take place virtually.

The exact dates for the virtual conference are yet to be finalized but the yearly event will likely take place during the same week of April 12, 2021. The Big “I" is also exploring options for an in-person board meeting later in the spring replacing the meeting normally held in conjunction with the Legislative Conference.

As always, conference attendees will hear from key members of Congress, carriers and industry leaders and walk away with an action plan to help protect our industry. The Big “I" will also provide the same support to members who plan on meeting with legislators virtually and, after the success of the 2020 virtual conference, plan on making the 2021 event bigger and better.

“After careful consideration, Big 'I' leadership felt this was the safest option, given the uncertainty still surrounding the pandemic," says Bob Rusbuldt, Big “I" president & CEO. “As always, the best advocates for our industry are our agents and brokers themselves, so it is vitally important that our states and members plan for these productive and fruitful meetings virtually with lawmakers. The Big 'I' will do everything we can to support and guide those efforts."
