The regulation on how insurance producers offer annuities and life insurance was unanimously ruled “unconstitutionally vague” after a legal challenge spearheaded by Big I New York with assistance from the national Big “I.”
Most importantly for independent agents, the president’s plan does not call for any changes to the 20% tax deduction for small businesses. The plan is, however, expected to see several changes.
The Big “I” supports the legislation because it creates a “safe harbor” for agents and brokers who choose to do business with cannabis-related legitimate businesses.
