The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced the 2019 CMS Marketplace Agent & Broker summit will take place on July 1, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., at the CMS Grand Auditorium in Baltimore.

During the summit, attendees will hear an overview of new health care policies and regulations; learn what’s new for plan year 2020 training, registration and open enrollment; listen to a panel discussion of lessons learned from veteran agents and brokers; and interact with CMS subject matter experts.

Agents can attend the summit in person or virtually via a live YouTube stream. Note that a limited number of seats is available for in-person attendance, which is only open to agents and brokers who have completed plan year 2019 Marketplace registration and training and who have a valid National Producer Number. Agents are responsible for the cost of attending in person.
