Big “I” Members Featured in Recent Local TV Newscasts

In the last several weeks, Big “I” members from across the country have been in the media spotlight, featured in various local TV newscasts on a number of insurance topics making news lately.
Washington young agent Dave Gregory, of Stonebraker McQuary Insurance, was interviewed by KHQ-TV in Spokane, for a feature on property crimes in that area. The station’s investigative unit contacted the national Big “I,” seeking an independent agent who could provide consumer tips on keeping property insurance rates down and staying safe. Gregory offered helpful advice on the station’s evening newscast and website.
In addition, Orlando agent Tom Cotton of Hugh Cotton Insurance appeared on several Florida stations discussing recent changes in underwriting criteria for homeowners in that state.
In Minnesota, independent agent Richard McKenney of Advance Insurance in Edina, discussed the unprecedented spike in homeowners insurance rates in that state on Fox’s KMSP-TV. That story may be viewed here.
