The true essence of Trusted Choice® and living the brand is an agency’s involvement in the community. Now is the time to be a part of the elite group of agencies that have received the Dan Fulwider Award for Community Involvement.
In 2010, Craig and Melanie Moon of the Moon & Adrion Insurance Agency in Middletown, Ohio, were recognized. They are among the eight founding families of Safe Havens Farm, a nonprofit parent and donor funded farm community for adults with autism. “The Moons give back to the community that supports their business and their family,” says Bob Rusbuldt, Big “I” president & CEO. “Their efforts to improve the lives of people with special needs, particularly autism, are truly inspirational.”
A $2,500 donation will be made to the 2011 award winner’s charity of choice. Dan Fulwider, of the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa, was an avid proponent of Trusted Choice® and engrained in his community. He lost his life after a valiant fight with cancer.
